Went to the last autocross of the season run by PCA and had a blast as always. I decided to mount my camera on the rear glass of my car and I think it came out pretty well.

I love that angle. I can only use it on the Boxster though.

Mid-rear configuration is best configuration!

SW20's are just begging for a quicker steering ratio. Every time I go from my mk1 to one of my friends' mk2's it's the first thing I notice is how big the wheel is and how much you have to turn it to do anything.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind or being tighter but it's not too big a deterrent for me.

You went into the finish the wrong way.

Sadly my camera battery died before that run. Is really like to see where exactly I crossed the limit

Well Jake caught the beginning of my spin on his GoPro. I think we both just carried too much speed going into the right side of the slalom, and my tires couldn't hold the weight shift. My guess is the same with you.

After further inspection, I can see my self start to slide a bit on the first cone in the slalom too, so the big slide was probably inevitable no matter what. I think I just carried too much speed for my street tires.

If I were keeping the car, I'd invest in race tires like Jayhawk.

Yeah, I know I was right under redline in the video above as I reach the finish. I'm thinking I was accelerating through the entire slalom instead of staying neutral on the throttle around the last cone. I know one of my runs I briefly hit the rev limiter through the finish, it might've been that last run.
